Bad breath? get rid of it easily

To you how is embarrasing is a bad breath? Imagine yourself on your way to a very important interviewyou’re your partner tells you ‘You got a terrible breath’, what would be your next line of action. If you got bad breath, the following quick fixes can help to minimize your horrible halitosis. If your gums, tongue and teeth are harbouring odour-causing bacteria, some rigorous daily hygiene habits becomes necessary to inhibit them.  Special rinses, attention to toothpaste and regular brushing and flossing  makes bad breath good.

Systematic approach

  1. Check any medications you may be taking, are they the cause your bad breath? If so, you may wish to call your doctor to see if you can switch medications if bad breath is a big issue for you.
  2. Examine your diet. Are you eating a lot of something known for causing bad breath? For example, garlic, onions and some types of fish are known to cause bad breath.
  3. Drink plenty of water daily to assure a fresh, clean feeling.
  4. Start your mornings by gargling with one teaspoon of honey and cinnamon powder mixed in hot water. This keeps your breath fresh throughout the day.
  5. If you’d rather go through the usual route, gargle with a mouthwash or chew a stick of gum, but don’t use mints, as they have sugars that feed the bacteria on your tongue
  6. If you’d like to fix the problem herbally, rather than going the “usual” route: Chew, do not swallow, a sprig of parsley or mint before and after eating to get rid of post-meal halitosis if you chose the herbal route.
  7. Purchase and use a tongue scraper and/or vigorously brush your tongue–your teeth are not the only place where odor-causing bacteria form. Make sure to brush the back of your tongue, not just the front.
  8. Floss on a regular basis, preferably after each meal. This is still necessary, even after a toothbrush cleaning.
  9. While some bad breath is “superficial,” (ie caused by bacteria in the mouth), it is often times the result of poor digestion (in the stomach). To alleviate this type of bad breath, make it a point to eat a serving of “active culture” yogurt every day. The healthful bacteria in the yogurt will aid in digestion, and quickly eliminate any traces of internally generated bad breath.

Tips

  • Chances are, your breath is not as bad as you think it is. Ask someone you trust (and will give you an honest answer) if they think you have bad breath.
  • General rule of thumb: if you have a taste in your mouth, however light, you have bad breath. This only applies during periods of time when you aren’t eating.
  • With so many choices of toothpastes on the market, pick one that you like the flavor of so that you’ll enjoy brushing your teeth.
  • Don’t drink bad-smelling liquids, as these particularly stick around in your mouth – drink lots of water and milk, and don’t go heavy on juice or liquor.
  • To keep your toothbrush free of bacteria, store it, head down, in a lidded plastic tumbler of hydrogen peroxide. Rinse the brush down well before you use it.
  • Here’s how to properly check for bad breath (the classic way of blowing into the palms and smelling them is a placebo: you may think you’re ok but you are not): Lick the back of your hand and then smell it, if no odor is sensed – just the ‘presence’ of normal saliva, then you are good to go!

Caution

  • Do not stop prescription medication without your doctor’s consent.
  • If none of the aforementioned techniques work for you, and you know you have severe bad breath, seek medical attention as bad breath can, in some rare cases, be a symptom of a far more serious disease.
  • Make sure you see a dentist regularly to fill up any cavities that may cause an unpleasant odor.

Getting started requires

  • A knowledge of the side-effects of any medication you may be taking (if you’re not sure, contact your doctor or pharmacist).
  • Notebook and pen to track your diet.
  • Sprigs of parsley and mint if you choose the natural route.
  • Gum, mints, and mouthwash if you choose the standard route.
  • Water.
  • Tongue cleaner.
  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental floss.
  • Visit to the Dentist where necessary.

Getting Rid of Belly Fat, the easy way.

So you want to get rid of that excess fat that makes you look like a pregnant woman? Some call it beer gut, others call it belly fat or tummy fat. All is the same as long it is excess fat.

A little body fat is actually good for you. It keeps you warm and helps your body maintain a sufficient core temperature and nutrients when we get sick and can’t eat. I actually had to build some little fat when I began to look too skinny.

There is new proof to the theory that lifting weights (anaerobic exercise, or weight training) and using the Stair Master (aerobic exercise) helps to get rid of that extra weight around your midsection. A healthy diet is always a good idea. So, I’ve summarized here a list of things you should take into consideration if you’re serious about losing that tummy:

1. They don’t call it a “beer belly,” for nothing. Drinking less beer, or quitting drinking altogether, will help you lose belly fat. No matter how healthy looking the drinker is, beer is bad for countless reasons. The most obvious reason is the caloric content of beer. The less obvious reasons are damages to the pancreas, spleen, kidney and liver, and the bloating (Check another article of mine) that often accompany the over-consumption of alcoholic beverages.
2. Reduce the amount of calories you consume, and you are on your way to a fat-free life. Fat, no matter where it is on your body, is best combated by consuming less calories than you body needs. This lack of calories will set into motion the processing of excess body fat to make up for the lack of calories. But don’t be excessive with it. Starving your body of calories is only good to a certain extent, after a point you begin to do damage to important things, like your central nervous system.
3. Consuming less food loaded with sugar will help you to lose tummy fat. Most people know this, but they are usually addicted to Sugar. The sugar found in junk food and soda is the kind of sugar that burns quickly, unlike those sugars found in fruits and vegetables, which burn more slowly. As you do not use this energy immediately your body produces it, it is readily converted to fat.
4. Daily exercise and walking will definitely get rid of belly fat. Going for a walk after a big meal or enjoying a dessert is never a bad idea. Regular mild exercises such as walking or doing some household chores are always a good idea.
5. Strengthening your abdominal muscles is good, but it won’t get rid of belly fat like magic. You may want to consider not only working out your abs, but also working out your shoulders, pectorals, back, and arms to help create a more shapely “V” figure, which will help reduce the appearance of your belly. Keep this in mind: bulking up your muscles requires fewer reps (about 8) and fewer sets with greater weight. Building leaner muscle requires more reps, more sets, and less weight.

Certainly, exercising your abdominal muscles is a good idea, because building any kind of lean muscle will improve your body’s ability to process calories more efficiently. The more muscle you have, the more calories you body needs to maintain those muscles. If you keep your caloric intake to a minimum, then your body will start to use the fat on your body for energy, thus reducing the amount of fat hanging from your belly. And strengthening your abdominal muscles will have two effects: first, it helps you build muscles that will help you burn more calories during the course of the day, and second, larger abdominal muscles tend to stretch the skin around them, tightening your belly and reducing the amount of belly that sags over your waist line.
But here’s the catch: only working your abdominal muscles isn’t going to do much for you. You should definitely consider joining a gym and working on a weight lifting routine that works as many of your muscle groups as possible, and a daily aerobic routine to help you burn the fat you already have.

5 sure ways to stop bloating in minutes!

Want to get rid of bloatng? it’s embarrasing isn’t it? well here are sure tips to help you get rid of bloating very fast.

Bloating is a result of excessive production of gas in the stomach. This may be a sign of indigestion ( a more serious condition) which is the more reason why you should be interested in stopping bloating once and for all.

To know how to stop bloating, the causes must first be highlighted. They include

1.Food Habits; this is the no 1 cause of bloating. Unhealthy food habits such as Over-eating or always eating in a hurry, cause the stomach to produce gas  a very high rate. This gas causes bloating.

2. Menses; yes! in women, bloating may occur during the pre-menstrual period. This is caused by changing hormonal levels during the period. Other signs associated with pre-menstrual bloating is puffiness of the face and generalised swelling of the body.

3.Bacteria; Candida otherwise known as “yeast bacteria” is also a cause of bloating. Candida helps in digestion through the process of fermentation. So really it’s a good bacteria but the problem is that fermentation produces Carbon dioxide(which is a gas). So increased activity of Candida….. well you know the result. Note that bloating due Candida may be painful!

4. “Gluten”; you may not have heard but Gluten, a protein present in wheat and bread, reacts with the stomach wall causing it to release more gas which results in bloating. So if you take too much wheat-related products, don’t be surprised that you are bloating.

Other causes of bloating include,

Consumption of Buffalo’s milk, Excessive use of Antibiotics, Sweets (High consumption) and excessive consumption of salts. These conditions either cause irritation of the stomach or indigestion both of which release gas and cause bloating.

Tips to stop blaoting in minutes!

1. Change your diet; less fat, less sweets and salts would work like magic if you would only try them. Decrease consumption of bread and wheat. Stop over-eating. Eat in a relaxed manner, stop rushing!

2. when using antibiotics use vitamin B-complex drug in addition.

3. A healthy body immune system can help prevent the spread of candida in the stomach. If you suspect Candida, then visit a health practitioner to see if there is another underlying cause.

4. Be moderate in all your eating habits.

5. Minimise the use of antibiotics as much as possible.

These five tips are very vital to your getting rid of bloating fast, so take action.
